Job Description
Based at Sunbury but will need to travel to London sites from time to time.
This will be a Monday to Friday role, working from 0800 - 1700 with flexibility to finish times.
To provide efficient control of work services, supporting reactive breakdowns and fault finding on critical systems on site, moves, churn, and operational activities across the ICBT portfolio for BP Sunbury. Support with identifying and managing F-Gas systems alongside the compliance manager.
The role will support the coordination, planning, and monitoring of subcontractor works, including monitoring, auditing, and enforcement of the Control of Work requirements. The role is responsible for the safe execution, quality, and timely completion of subcontractor work, ensuring adherence to client and JLL requirements. All logbooks, compliance, services, and PPMs must be kept up to date and correctly completed.
Key objectives of the role:
1. Host, oversee, and work with visiting contractors, both project-related and supporting operational team activities.
2. Manage work delivery at client premises, ensuring quality objectives and timely project completion.
3. Conduct fault finding and system repairs promptly.
4. Support regional leads in identifying risks to assets and systems, managing repairs for critical systems.
5. Ensure safe execution of work in accordance with safety systems.
6. Meet SLAs and PPMs set by the contract.
7. Innovate and improve best practices, supporting JLL growth by developing skills and learning new processes.
8. Develop and share ideas and knowledge.
9. Ensure reactive Helpdesk Requests are completed and closed per SLAs.
10. Participate in an on-call rota for out-of-hours emergencies.
11. Support client and project teams by coordinating activities and advising on limitations.
12. Maintain professional communication with project managers, contractors, consultants, customers, and client representatives.
13. Provide health and safety information to contractors, including protocols and requirements.
14. Issue and clear Permits to Work as required.
15. Inspect work equipment and document findings.
16. Monitor contractors and equipment to ensure compliance with method statements and risk assessments.
17. Conduct workplace inspections per JLL and client requirements.
18. Address sub-standard performance appropriately.
19. Coordinate with FM infrastructure teams for isolations, reconnections, and handovers.
20. Ensure safety training is up-to-date.
21. Support technical training and development initiatives.
22. Seek continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery.
23. Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies and legal requirements.
24. Report critical incidents or problems to the Site Manager.
25. Support supervisors and perform other duties as assigned.
26. Assist in building resilience within the technical team.
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
* Building services and HVAC knowledge.
* Controls experience, ideally with Trend systems.
* Facility management knowledge.
* HSE knowledge.
* City & Guilds or equivalent in FGAS, Electrical, Construction, or related disciplines.
* SMSTMS/IOSH/NEBOSH certification desirable.
* Experience supervising contractors for remedial and maintenance work.
* Authorized Person and competent operator of Permit to Work systems.
* Proficient in MS Office, Microsoft Project, and capable of using bespoke databases.
* Experience in large organizations with a proven track record in EHS activities.
* Excellent understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislation and policies.
* Experience in continuous improvement cultures.
* Minimum 5 years of experience with a recognized apprenticeship.
* BMS controls and HVAC system experience.
* Ability to read system drawings and fault find on relays, PCBs, and water systems.
