Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Admin/Teaching Assistant to join our educational team. This vital role combines administrative expertise with classroom support, ensuring smooth daily operations and fostering an engaging learning environment. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills, including bilingual abilities. You will provide essential clerical support, manage office functions, assist teachers with instructional tasks, and deliver outstanding customer service to students, parents, and staff. Duties

* Manage front desk operations, greeting visitors and directing inquiries with professionalism and warmth
* Answer multi-line phone systems efficiently, providing accurate information and transferring calls as needed
* Maintain organized filing systems, data entry records, and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date
* Support teachers with classroom activities, including preparing materials, proofreading documents, and assisting with student supervision
* Coordinate calendar management for staff and school events, ensuring timely scheduling and reminders
* Handle general office tasks such as photocopying, mailing, and managing supplies to keep the school environment running smoothly
* Provide exceptional customer support to parents and students by addressing questions promptly and courteously
* Utilize computer skills across Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace applications, and other relevant software for administrative tasks
* Assist with bookkeeping duties using QuickBooks or similar accounting tools when necessary
* Uphold phone etiquette standards while managing inquiries via phone or email, ensuring clear communication at all times

Qualifications

* Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, data entry, and filing systems
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette
* Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse student populations effectively
* Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining a positive attitude

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 6 per week

Work Location: In person
