Learning & Development Business Partner
Salary + £6,000 Car allowance + other fantastic benefits
Scantec Recruitment is partnering with a leading food manufacturing group to recruit a Learning & Development Business Partner. Due to business growth and functional evolution, this is an exciting new regional role supporting three food manufacturing sites: one in Cardiff and two in Wales/Wiltshire.
The role requires travel to all three sites, with hybrid working available. Most time will be spent at the Cardiff site, the largest among them.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about people development to deliver strategy and create development programs across multiple sites, working directly with leadership teams.
Core Responsibilities:
* Partner with senior leadership teams to identify and develop individuals and teams.
* Create and implement learning strategies and programs across the region, including capability assessments and development planning.
* Conduct various people development methods (e.g., coaching, mentoring, facilitation, leadership delivery) and design learning interventions, including technical, behavioral, and leadership programs.
* Utilize group LMS reporting tools to generate management information and provide insights to the business.
* Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops, blended learning solutions, and other development options.
* Plan and deliver strategic Continuous Improvement development initiatives, using digital tools to create flexible and innovative learning programs.
* Implement and promote a coaching culture and encourage continuous professional development (CPD). Evaluate the effectiveness and transfer of learning and its impact on performance.
* Stay informed on external L&D trends and best practices, actively contributing to the broader People team.
Ideal Experience and Skills:
Candidates should have experience in a similar Learning and Development leadership role, with a background in business partnering with leaders. A degree or equivalent qualification (e.g., CIPD membership) is advantageous.
While an L&D or coaching qualification is preferred, it is not essential, as coaching qualifications will be part of your development plan.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders, colleagues, and leadership teams. Knowledge of effective learning methods, e-learning platforms, and practices is also desirable.
