Join Our Client as a Logistics Engineer in Gaydon!
Are you passionate about automotive logistics and looking to make an impact in a world-renowned luxury brand? Our client, a prestigious name in high-performance sports cars, is hiring a Logistics Engineer to support their cutting-edge supply chain and manufacturing operations in Gaydon.
What you'll be doing:
* Designing and optimising material flow, inbound logistics, warehousing, and line side delivery processes.
* Conducting time & motion studies, ergonomic improvements, and layout design using Auto-CAD.
* Developing warehouse and production layouts, especially for new model launches.
* Leading root cause analysis (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) and conducting FMEA risk assessments.
* Building logistics cost models, analysing KPIs, and driving continuous improvement.
* Supporting cross-functional projects, including system integrations and logistics transformation.
* Collaborating with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and external partners.
* Monitoring delivery performance, stock health, and takt adherence using Power BI, SAP, and Excel.
What you'll bring:
* A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
* Strong experience in automotive logistics, warehouse operations, and supply chain management.
* Expertise in lean logistics, layout design, MTM studies, and risk analysis tools.
* Proficiency with SAP, LN, WMS, TMS, Power BI, and AutoCAD.
* Experience supporting new model launches (NPI/NML) is highly desirable.
* Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.
* A full UK driving licence for site travel.
Additional info:
* Contract: Temporary (minimum 1 year)
* Hours: 39 per week (Mon-Thurs 07:00-16:00, Fri 07:30-12:00)
* Location: Gaydon/Wellesbourne
