Deputy Nursery Manager – Yardley, Birmingham
Monarch Education are recruiting on behalf of a well established nursery in the Yardley area of Birmingham. This role is for a dedicated and motivated Deputy Nursery Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced early years professional to take on a leadership role, supporting the manager in ensuring the highest standards of care, education and safeguarding for all children. This role is Monday to Friday 7.30am – 2pm and you must hold at least a Level 5 (Foundations Degree) in Early Years with 2 years of Nursery Managing experience.
Requirements of applicant:
* A minimum qualification of a Foundation Degree in Early Years (Level 5 or above)
* At least 2 years’ experience in a nursery management position
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework and safeguarding practices
* Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
* A genuine passion for delivery high quality childcare and education
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Supporting the Nursery Manager with the daily running of the nursery
* Lead, motivate and support staff to deliver high-quality early years provision
* Ensured all statutory requirements, policies and safeguarding procedures are met
* Maintain high standards of care and education across all rooms, ages and abilities
* Contribute to staff training, supervision and professional development
* Support in maintaining accurate records, including planning, observations and assessments

Salary: £10 – £20 per hour (Reviewed after 12 weeks placement*)
