We're seeking an experienced Team Leader to provide hands-on support to a woman with autism while leading a small, dedicated team.
This role combines direct support with leadership, working closely with family and professionals to deliver consistent, person-centred care and support.
Key responsibilities:
· Deliver high-quality, tailored support
· Lead, mentor, and coordinate the support team
· Develop and review person-centred plans
· Ensure structure, consistency, and clear communication
· Manage rotas, supervision, and team development
· Promote independence and wellbeing
About the individual:
She thrives with clear structure and consistent communication. Sensory processing differences can influence how she responds to her environment, so recognising behaviour as communication is key. Her strengths and interests should be valued and supported.
About you:
* Experience supporting autistic adults
* Understanding of sensory processing differences
* Previous leadership or senior support experience
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Calm, proactive, and collaborative approach
* A full clean UK driving licence
A relevant health and social care qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable.
