Job Summary
The APS Engineer will be part of a Global support team responsible for supporting the development, launch, upkeep, and improvement of the Production Management System, including training, new plant launch, and digitalization efforts. This position will report to APS Regional/Global Manager.
Job Functions
* Participates in the development, launch, upkeep, and improvement of Manufacturing standards
* Revises and maintains documents based on feedback and customer needs at established frequency
* Prepares recurring reports and makes necessary communications
* Participates in the success of new plant launches through hands on support and training
* Helps correlate shop floor activities to organizational KPI’s
* Supports compliance to industry standards and internal QMS procedures
* Performs and / or supports Internal evaluations to ensure compliance
* Identify, document, and effectively communicate business requirements and opportunities for improvement of business processes
* Collaborate with management on development and execution of project roadmaps, planning and prioritization
* Coordinate with different departmental and regional stakeholders to produce improved business outcomes
* As necessary, be able to support different regions, shifts, and schedules
* As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative
Management Responsibilities
Has indirect subordinates and counterparts across regions. Provides coaching, guidance, training and staff development; Strong ability to leads without authority.
Ideal Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent international qualifications in a related field
* 5+ years of related professional-level experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
* Superior presentation and negotiation skills
* Strong management and organizational skills
* Adaptable and capable of working in fast-paced environments
* Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other PC applications
* General understanding of lithium battery manufacturing, product knowledge, battery manufacturing processes and equipment, and related information systems
* Preferred experience in lean manufacturing production system training and execution
