Job Overview
- To protect our customer's property, people, and assets by providing security services in accordance with the site's published Assignment Instructions (AI's) and any subsequent updates.
- To deliver results that meet or exceed the Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreement for the customer, ensuring responsibility and accountability, and aiding in contract retention.
- To undertake additional training for continuous self-development.
Main Duties
Operations
* Ensure compliance with all policies, legal, and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and in accordance with UK Law and guidance bodies.
* Complete all tasks and duties on site as defined within the published Assignment Instructions (AI's).
* Review and familiarize oneself with changes in the AI's to suggest improvements.
* Maintain compliance with Industry and Statutory Legislation, including holding the required front-line licences (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and a CCTV PSS SIA Licence, with renewals 16 weeks prior to expiry.
* Follow instructions and safety procedures appropriately.
* Work systematically and methodically.
Training
* Complete all competency training satisfactorily.
* Undertake additional training for self-development as directed.
* Utilize technology for work objectives and professional growth.
Security and Health & Safety
* Report health and safety hazards immediately.
* Remain alert to threats or environmental changes and respond appropriately.
* Maintain professional conduct in difficult situations.
* Accurately document incidents for reports.
* Adhere to schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the client.
* Conduct check calls at specified times.
* Report incidents to emergency services and communication centers.
What we are looking for
* Previous security experience.
* SIA License.
* SC Clearance (desirable).
