HGV Technician vacancy in Croydon
Salary: £42,000 - £54,000 depending on experience Hours: 40 hours per week - varying shifts - enquire within (Early's / Lates / Nights) Benefits: Franchised Dealer Training. + EV / Hybrid Training

We are seeking skilled and experienced HGV Technicians to deliver high-quality maintenance and repair services on a variety of heavy vehicles. Duties:
8. Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs to manufacturer and industry standards
9. Diagnose vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment and rectify issues efficiently
10. Perform safety inspections, MOT preparations, and routine vehicle checks
11. Support the training and mentoring of apprentices and junior technicians
12. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and quality standards
13. Support the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programmes
Requirements:
14. Hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or possess comprehensive industry experience
15. Previous experience working on HGVs or completed an apprenticeship in heavy vehicle maintenance
16. Strong diagnostic skills and experience with vehicle electrical systems and troubleshooting
17. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
18. Flexibility to cover various shifts, including early, late, and rotating shift patterns
