Working for a global holiday experiences scale-up, the Marketing Director / Head or Marketing / Head of Growth role involves leading the build of a D2C channel to acquire and convert direct customers.
The organisation has scaled quickly and operate in 60 countries, with over 200k products. This critical role will lead their full funnel D2C efforts to acquire and convert customers to drive direct online sales.
This is an amazing opportunity to build a new channel that will significantly increase the pace of growth. The package will include a salary, 20-30% annual bonus and equity allocation.
The role is fully remote.
The Marketing Director / Head or Marketing / Head of Growth will
* Hire and lead a marketing team covering SEO, Paid Media, Brand/Content, Social Media.
* Create and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for short- and long-term growth.
* Design and run performance campaigns (Google, Meta, affiliates, influencers) with measurable ROI.
* Partner with product and sales teams to align on pricing, packages, and global distribution strategy.
* Stay ahead of industry trends (AI, new distribution models, changing OTA algorithms).
* Build the brand identity, brand book, and long-term positioning.
Candidates for the Marketing Director / Head or Marketing / Head of Growth role must have
* Strong marketing experience in the travel, holidays, online travel agency (OTA), ticketing or experiences space.
* Ideally experience driving growth in direct online bookings, while competing with global platforms such as GetYourGuide (GYG), Viator, Tripadvisor, Klook, Expedia,, Tiqets, Headout, Airbnb Experiences, etc.
* Ideally full funnel performance marketing across all acquisition channels and onsite conversion journey optimisation.
* Any experience of brand and brand campaigns is an advantage.
* Ideally people management experience, building and managing a small specialist marketing and trading team.
* Experience managing agencies
* A strong data focus and comfort using data to develop and test strategies.
