Graduate Finance Business Partnering Programme Duration: 2-3 years Locations: Peterborough – with limited travel to our sites Salary: £32,000 Powering a world-class manufacturing business. At British Sugar, finance is at the heart everything we do. Through our sugar manufacturing process, we support key decision making across a number of core and by-products. As a Finance Graduate, you’ll business partner our Commercial and Agricultural functions that supports the production and sale of over a million tonnes of sugar each year. What you will be doing • Gain experience in key accounting activities – e.g. Periodic reporting / Forecasting • Support business decisions through analytical analysis • Support automation and continual improvement • Ensuring financial controls are in place and adhered too • Support external view of the market & grower insight What you will need • A minimum 2:1 (or predicted) degree • Ability to question, challenge and diagnose issues • A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement • Clear communication and teamwork skills — able to collaborate and share ideas effectively • Passion for continued learning and development • Willing and able to work in Peterborough or relocate to one of the following manufacturing sites: Wissington, Bury St Edmunds, Cantley, or Newark, during or after the programme (dependent on role availability). • The right to work in the United Kingdom • Alignment with our values: staying safe, driving to action, working together, respecting each other, and being open and flexible British Sugar is a home-grown success story and one of the most efficient and competitive beet processers in the world.
