Employment Training and Skills (ETS) courses provide young people with skills and qualifications they can build on and develop throughout their working life.
In partnership with employers, schools, colleges, and charities, we train and support over 300 young people every year. We provide courses, support, and careers advice, to young people whether they interested in construction qualifications or a hairdressing apprenticeship.
We work with 15–29-year-olds who are looking to enter employment, we work with you them on both an individual and group basis to find the best employment opportunities in their area and to help prepare them for these opportunities.
As part of the service, we also work with the families of young people to provide a holistic, family approach to employability.

As a Project Worker 2 you will work as part of a busy team assisting delivering with young people and/or parents/carers.
The role will include the delivery of both group work and one-to-sessions to support people into employment, education or training. Sessions can include:

13. Supporting participants to attend volunteering/work placements
14. Arranging group visits
15. Supporting people to gain qualifications/engage in courses
The salary for this role is £27,573.00 (Full Time Equivalent) £16,543.00 (pro rata) and is non-negotiable. Other salaries are shown so that applicants are aware of the progression salaries.

Whilst the full pay band and salary range is advertised, our approach to starting salaries is to appoint between the minimum to mid-point of the pay band – this ensures that pay steps are available to reward our colleagues annually based on their contribution to excellence and alignment to our values and behaviours.
