Overview
We are looking for a commercial heavyweight to lead GIFTA’s new business function. You will sit at the intersection of Marketing and Sales, responsible for converting our brand's momentum into a high-performing revenue engine.
While you will oversee a Senior Marketing Exec (driving inbound demand), Brand Partnerships Exec (converting that demand) and Strategist, your success isn’t just measured by their output. Your primary focus is Net-New Enterprise Growth: hunting, pitching, and winning high-value, long-term partnerships with the world’s biggest brands.
Your focus
1. Enterprise Growth (The "Net-New" Focus)
* Hunt the Big Game: You are personally responsible for opening doors at the Enterprise level. You don't wait for these to land in the inbox; you go out and get them.
* Complex Closing: Lead high-stakes pitches with CMOs, Brand Directors, and Procurement leads, turning cold prospects into multi-year partners.
* Strategic Playbooks: Develop sector-specific strategies (FMCG, Beauty, Food) to displace competitors and establish GIFTA as the gold standard.
2. Directing the Inbound Engine
* Marketing Leadership: Manage the Senior Marketing Exec to ensure our events, content, and B2B campaigns are laser-targeted at our Ideal Client Profile (ICP).
* Conversion Management: Oversee the Brand Partnerships Exec and Strategist, who manages the inbound flow. You will ensure they have the training, decks, and scripts to close transactional/SME leads efficiently, freeing you up for the Enterprise hunt.
* The "Net" Effect: You are the connective tissue—ensuring that every marketing lead is followed up with urgency and that the "opens" and "clicks" from our campaigns are turned into discovery calls.
3. Commercial Architecture & Systems
* Own the Total Target: You carry the ultimate responsibility for the total new business revenue line.
* Sales Operations / Hubspot mastery: Clean and optimize HubSpot to provide real-time visibility into the pipeline, forecasting accuracy, and conversion rates across the whole team.
* Maintain a clinical view of the pipeline. You should be able to report on not just how much is in the pipe, but the quality and expected duration of those contracts.
* Refining the Pitch: Constantly evolve our sales collateral and "GIFTA Model" narrative to stay ahead of the creator economy curve.
4. Strategic Alignment with Client Services
* Selling for Longevity: Collaborate daily with the Client Services Director to ensure every pitch is grounded in reality and designed for a 12-month+ lifecycle.
* Seamless Handover: Own the transition from "Signed Lead" to "Active Client," ensuring Client Services is set up to over-deliver and renew from day one.
* Solution Architecture: Work with the CSD to refine our product offering—building "long-term brand trust" packages that are easier to scale and retain.
The ideal profile
* The Partnership Architect: You don't just "close"; you "build." You understand that a retainer is worth significantly more to the business than a one-off project.
* Commercial Maturity: 7+ years in B2B sales/leadership. You speak the language of CMOs and Procurement and understand how to bake "growth milestones" into long-term contracts.
* Collaborative DNA: You understand that Sales and Client Services are two sides of the same coin. You thrive on feedback from the delivery team to make your pitches sharper.
* Leadership: Proven experience managing both Sales and Marketing functions to a singular commercial goal.
