The Role:
As a Commercial Account Handler, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring renewals, mid-term adjustments, and day-to-day queries are handled efficiently. You'll work closely with Account Executives and senior management to deliver exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing renewals, mid-term adjustments, and client queries
* Preparing and issuing policy documentation and renewal reports
* Liaising with insurers to negotiate competitive terms and coverage
* Supporting Account Executives with client meetings and new business activity
* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with FCA standards
* Building strong, long-term relationships with clients and insurers
About You:
* Experience within commercial insurance broking
* Knowledge of SME and mid-market commercial products, including property, liability, and combined covers
* Strong communication, organisational, and client management skills
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially minded
* Cert CII qualified or working towards (support available)
* Acturis or similar broking system experience desirable
