Job Description
Join our team as a contractor Applications Packaging Specialist for a 3-6 month period, working in a hybrid capacity with attendance at our Coventry office 2-3 days per week. This opportunity falls inside IR35 and involves engaging with a dynamic and large-scale enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and support complex application packaging solutions using SCCM, Intune, App-V, MSI, and AppX.
2. Manage stakeholders effectively, communicating with internal teams and third-party providers at all organisational levels.
3. Configure, implement, and support mission-critical systems, ensuring robust incident handling in a 24x7x365 environment.
4. Analyse business processes to identify and implement effective solutions.
5. Maintain technical curiosity, ensuring continuous skills enhancement through exploration and assessment of new technologies.
Essential Skills
6. Proficiency in Applications Packaging, SCCM, Intune, App-V, MSI, and AppX.
7. ITIL Foundation certification (minimum).
8. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
9. Experience with configuring, implementing, and supporting complex solutions.
10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
11. Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager suite, Azure AD, and Cloud Management Gateway integration.
12. Experience with DEP, MAM, MDM solutions, and Intune Autopilot.
13. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration, SharePoint management, and Active Directory.
14. Expertise in scripting languages such as PowerShell and VBScript.
15. Comprehensive understanding of Windows 11 support and troubleshooting.
