Head of Clinical Services (Registered Manager)
Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum + Paid Petrol
Location: UK based – Would need to be willing to travel to London and Northeast Lincolnshire where care packages are located
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm (flexibility for out-of-hours support required)
Overview
Sentra Care is partnering with a leading, CQC-registered complex care and mental health service provider to appoint an experienced Registered Manager (Head of Clinical Services).
This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing clinical governance and regulatory compliance across both physical & mental health complex care. The role reports directly to the Nominated Individual and offers the opportunity to shape clinical quality standards within a growing, national healthcare organisation.
The vacancy arises due to an internal transition, and the incoming postholder will play a critical role in maintaining continuity, supporting staff, and driving service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage regulated clinical services to ensure full CQC compliance.
* Act as the Registered Manager for services
* Provide clinical oversight for complex care packages, particularly across the Northeast Lincolnshire region.
* Deliver strong, values-based leadership to multidisciplinary teams, ensuring safe, compassionate, and person-centred care.
* Oversee quality management systems, audits, and statutory notifications to the CQC.
* Work collaboratively with governance, HR, and business development teams to align operational and clinical priorities.
* Mentor and support clinical and care staff, ensuring continuous professional development and revalidation compliance.
* Engage with commissioners, clients, and regulators to maintain positive, transparent relationships.
* Contribute to strategic growth and new service mobilisation in partnership with senior leadership.
About You
We’re seeking a motivated and empathetic leader who combines clinical expertise with operational acumen.
Essential:
* Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) – dual registration advantageous.
* Experience either as a CQC Registered Manager or sound understanding of CQC regulations
* Strong understanding of the Health and Social Care Act, CQC frameworks, safeguarding, and governance.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
* Ability to travel between regional sites as required.
