Enior Quantity Surveyor
Manchester | £65,000 per annum
We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take the commercial lead on an exciting new infrastructure scheme in Manchester strong focus on earthworks and drainage.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead all commercial aspects of the project, ensuring tight control of budgets and timelines.
* Manage NEC 4 Option A contracts, including accurate cost forecasting, reporting, and contract administration.
* Work closely with the delivery team, engineers, and key stakeholders to align commercial strategy with project delivery.
* Drive value engineering and ensure cost efficiency through smart procurement.
* Manage risk and ensure strict contractual compliance.
* Mentor and support junior QS team members, encouraging growth and development.
* Provide clear and strategic commercial reporting to senior leadership.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering or infrastructure.
* Solid understanding of NEC 4 Option A contracts and their commercial management.
* Skilled in managing subcontractor packages and maintaining tight cost control.Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or related field. RICS/CIOB accreditation is a plus.
