About the Role
keystone architecture are North Lincolnshire's leading architectural practice and construction consultants, working on a vast range of projects including HMO conversions, domestic extensions and refurbishments, new build homes and site developments, across several counties.
We are looking for a highly organised Architectural / Technical Development Assistant to support our project delivery and to help drive projects forward.
You will assist with surveying, document writing and Planning submissions, Building Control coordination, consultant management, construction documentation and general administration across a number of schemes. This is a varied and fast-paced role offering exposure to every stage of pre-construction.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare supporting documentation and submit Planning Applications, Variations and Discharge of Conditions
Manage, collate and distribute supporting consultant's documentation.
Coordinate Building Control applications and maintain compliance records.
Liaise with the Local Authority, Structural Engineers, Ecologists, Drainage Engineers etc.
Assist with project programme updates and progress reports.
Manage version control of drawings, reports and technical documents.
Attend occasional site visits to gather photos and updates.
Requirements
Strong understanding of Local and National Planning Policies.
Proficiency and awareness of the Building Regulations.
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail, and skills to manage multiple projects.
Confident communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, PDF software.
Experience in AutoCAD preferred, but not essential.
Interest in Planning, Architecture or Construction.
Full UK driving licence.
