Overview
Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Deputy Manager- RGN to support the General Manager in operating a compliant, effective, person-centred care home with a safe, caring and stimulating environment for residents and visitors.
Job responsibilities
* Provide ongoing inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
* Ensure medication policies and procedures are adhered to and support the reviewing of medication and administration.
* Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, noting any changes impacting care and care plans.
* Complete monthly audits, quality indicator reports and other required reports.
* Attend weekly clinical meetings and monitor clinical risk areas in the home.
About you
To be successful, you will live the values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful and accountable in all that you do.
* Hold a first-level qualification and a current NMC registration.
* Have a minimum of two years experience in a similar care environment, in a management position.
* Have excellent leadership and management skills.
* Have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and be competent in using IT systems.
* Be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
