Your Role in the SMR Division
In this exciting position, you’ll be part of the Bournemouth cluster, covering areas like Bournemouth, Poole, and Christchurch. Forget emergency callouts and unpredictable shifts; you’ll work through a scheduled list of jobs, equipped with the time, tools, and support to deliver quality work.
What to Expect
Your day begins with a clear digital schedule, where each job is pre-booked and waiting for you. You’ll be responsible for:
* Routine servicing
* Advanced diagnostics using cutting-edge mobile equipment
* In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
* Providing member advice and recommendations based on your inspections
* Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards
With SMR, you’ll have the opportunity to focus on delivering planned work, ensuring you can prepare and execute each job to the highest standard.
What You’ll Need
* Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
* A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
