Numero Recruitment, the leading recruiter for Audit jobs across the South East & London, is currently recruiting for one of the UK’s leading and fastest-growing accountancy firms. They are looking to recruit an Audit & Accounts Senior into their experienced team in High Wycombe.

The Role:
* Preparation of Accounts & Tax Computations
* Develop your accounts skills as part of your training and development program, including:
o Sole Trader Accounts and tax computations
o Partnership and tax computations
o LLP Accounts and tax computations
o Audit Exempt Companies, Statutory Accounts Checklists and Corporation Tax
o Specialist Areas – Charities, Academies, Solicitors & Financial services
* Complete planning, fieldwork, and completion on assignments
* Proactive contact with clients regarding accounts queries
* Complete assignments within set budgets, highlighting potential issues with Managers
* Respond to Managers and Partners' review feedback
Auditing:
* Assist with audit assignments under the direction of Managers and Partners
* Develop your audit skills as part of your training and development program, including:
o Audit Fieldwork
o Audit Planning
o Attending client stock takes
o Audit Section completion
o Statutory Account Checklists
o Audit Completion
o Assist junior staff in developing their audit skills and knowledge
Management of Accounts, Tax, Audit & Specialist Assignments:
* Ensure all client queries are appropriately answered or directed to Managers
* Provide planning updates to Managers as required
* Provide junior team members with appropriate information regarding delegated areas of client assignments
* Approve planning and budgeting of client assignments with Managers and Partners
* Assist in fieldwork where appropriate, including offsite assignments
* Review assignments undertaken by junior team members, including:
o Statutory Accounts
o Sole Trader Accounts
o Partnership Accounts
o Corporation Tax Returns
* Issue key documentation to the client
* Liaise with the relevant Manager and Partner as required
Training:
* Assist junior team members with fieldwork queries
* Provide feedback to junior team members post file reviews
* Identify training opportunities for junior team members
* Support students through their professional training
Administrative:
* Attend and contribute to bi-monthly Audit & Accounts Meetings
* Liaise with the Audit & Accounts Managers regarding work planning
* Liaise with the Audit & Accounts Senior Manager regarding departmental issues
* Perform other tasks as requested by Managers and Partners
Self-Development:
* Take responsibility for personal self-development
* Attend appropriate and relevant CPD courses
* Read relevant professional literature
Requirements:
* ACA Qualified with recent experience in practice
* Eligibility to live and work in the UK
* Experience of completing audit and accounts work for various business entities
* High level of technical knowledge with excellent commercial awareness
* Excellent communication skills, adaptable to different audiences
* Proficient in using computerised audit systems
* Competent in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
* Ability to identify and manage risks effectively
* Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
* Professional manner and appearance
* Experience in managing, motivating, and leading junior staff on assignments
