Overview
The Company
Our client is a niche engineering company; due to growth they are looking to recruit a Store Person.
The Role
* You will be responsible for managing and materials in stores.
* Maintaining accurate stock levels and materials so they are available when needed and coordinating the storage area.
* Placing orders for materials and supplies, managing purchase orders and potentially identifying purchasing opportunities with suppliers.
* Completing paperwork, managing inventory records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
* Developing and implementing efficient stock control systems and processes.
* Conducting regular stock takes, managing stock reports and departmental KPIs.
The Person
* Will ideally have experience in a similar role.
* Engineering/ Technical knowledge beneficial.
* FLT licence beneficial.
* Must be happy to work day shift pattern.
* Logical problem solver.
* Previous engineering or manufacturing experience is essential.
* Must have good IT and communication skills.
