This high‑growth manufacturing group has multiple international sites and is now entering its next phase of expansion.
We are seeking an exceptional Finance Director to lead the finance and IT operations for one of the UK manufacturing sites, based near Burnley, Lancashire. This is the number one finance role onsite, reporting into the Group CFO with a dotted line to the site GM.
As Finance Director, you will lead the finance and IT agenda for the site in Burnley, shape the financial strategy, provide high quality, data‑lead insight and decision support, and develop best‑in‑class MI and reporting packs.

Responsibilities
* Act as a strategic partner to the site leadership team to drive commercial and operational performance.
* Maintain a strong financial control environment and risk management framework.
* Develop meaningful KPIs to improve performance visibility and quality.
* Deliver accurate monthly reporting, analysis, and performance insights.
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, KPIs and financial controls; drive continuous improvement across systems and processes.
* Steer the implementation or evolution of the site’s new ERP system.
* Ensure strong communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Lead internal and external audit processes.
Candidate profile
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
* Strong experience at a similar level in manufacturing (ideally automotive or aerospace) or other complex industrial environments.
* Ability to move confidently between detailed analysis and strategic thinking.
* Hands‑on approach, able to manage tight deadlines and competing priorities.
* High levels of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
* Strong people leadership and team development capability.
* Commercial acumen, business insight and operational awareness.
* Low ego, collaborative approach with strong interpersonal skills.
