We are looking for an experienced Lead Infrastructure Engineer who is passionate about Endpoint & Unified Comms technology, modern engineering practices, and developing people. In this leadership-focused role, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Endpoint & Unified Comms Infrastructure Engineers in the design, build and distribution of enterprise-wide solutions, ensuring best deployment of knowledge, skills, and capability to meet delivery needs and objectives.
Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a team of Endpoint & Unified Comms Infrastructure Engineers in the design, build and distribution of enterprise-wide solutions.
* Collaborate with architects, other engineering leads, and delivery managers to design, implement, and support secure and robust infrastructure solutions.
* Shape infrastructure engineering strategy, driving transformation towards modern endpoint solutions, infrastructure-as-code and automation.
Qualifications
* Proven experience leading infrastructure engineers and driving engineering excellence across teams.
* Strong technical expertise in designing, implementing, testing, and supporting Endpoint & Unified Comms solutions.
* Experience or knowledge of Windows OS, Identity and Access, Teams, Microsoft cloud solutions, Digital Workspace (Enterprise Desktop & Mobility), IT modernisation, Hybrid solutions, Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance.
* Experience with configuration and change management, incident/problem resolution, and performance optimisation.
* Deep understanding of modern infrastructure standards and practices, including automation, observability, and continuous deployment.
* Ability to coach and mentor engineers in adopting new technologies and engineering practices.
* Experience working with architecture teams to translate high-level designs into operational solutions.
* Experience collaborating with project managers to plan and execute enterprise-wide change.
