Responsibilities
* Respond to customer enquiries in a professional manner by phone and email.
* Assist driver queries and raise new works ensuring information is correct.
* Process orders from booking requests through to job confirmation.
* Liaise with transport & sales representatives to agree schedule dates for bookings.
* Ensure paperwork is processed and completed correctly to allow accurate and timely invoicing.
* Enter data into CSG's in‑house computer databases (Big Change + Xero) and other administrative computer systems.
* Provide support to the finance department to maintain sales spreadsheet and purchase order register.
* Respond to invoice queries by confirming job details with customers and inform finance department of credit requests.
* Assist the finance department in the purchase ledger function.
* Liaise with other departments and depots within CSG to ensure information is accurately and quickly shared.
* Liaise with operational staff for confirmation of details required for quoting, bookings & invoicing.
* Provide administrative support on a wide range of general administration tasks as required.
* Ensure customer confidentiality within all tasks.
Qualifications
* Formal qualifications to a minimum GCSE level.
* Previous experience delivering a wide range of administration functions would be advantageous.
* Computer literate to include use of Microsoft Office programmes.
* Competence and aptitude to work as part of a team in a fast‑paced office environment.
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within an organisation and with external customers.
