Job Title : Senior Software Engineer (C++ Expert)Location: Surrey Working Arrangement: Onsite / Hybrid Contract (Inside or Outside) or Perm: £75k - £85kOur client is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Maritime Communications design and development team. This role will concentrate on Maritime communication capabilities within both the UK/NATO and the global context, covering both existing capabilities and those anticipated in the future. The position involves software design, development, and review for a diverse range of systems, from small embedded single processors to multi-processor networked systems. Working closely with systems and hardware engineers, the selected candidate will develop multidisciplinary solutions, defining software-hardware and software-firmware interfaces to ensure technical requirements are met throughout design, integration, leading to customer acceptance.The ideal candidate, as identified by our client, should possess knowledge and experience in software design and development, proficiency in high-level programming languages such as C++, C, Java, and familiarity with embedded and desktop operating systems like Linux and Windows.
