Import customs clerk

We are currently recruiting for an experiencedCustoms Brokerage Agentto join a busy, fast-paced customs team based in Feltham.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and submit accurate customs declarations for imports (all modes)
* Ensure timely clearance and release of consignments in line with KPIs
* Verify and manage customs documentation and compliance requirements
* Liaise with HMRC, other government agencies, and customers
* Track shipments and manage customs files
* Ensure accurate and timely billing
* Attend customs inspections where required
* Maintain compliance with all customs regulations and internal procedures

Key Requirements:

* Previous experience in customs clearance / customs brokerage
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Customer-focused, proactive, and reliable
* Good IT skills (customs systems, Excel, Word)
