Key Responsibilities:
 1. Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum, with a particular focus on Year 2 learning objectives.
 2. Assessment & Feedback: Monitor and assess pupil progress, including preparation for end-of-Key Stage 1 assessments (SATs), and provide clear, constructive feedback to pupils and parents.
 3. Differentiation: Adapt teaching to meet the varying needs and abilities of pupils, ensuring every child is challenged and supported appropriately.
 4. Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.
 5. Student Wellbeing: Promote social and emotional development through positive relationships and pastoral support.
 6. Collaboration: Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to ensure each child reaches their full potential.
 7. Safeguarding: Uphold all safeguarding and child protection policies to ensure a safe and caring learning environment.
 8. Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to the wider life of the school.

 13. Hours: 8:15 AM – 4:00 PM

Experience & Qualifications:
 15. Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) required.
 16. Experience: Proven experience teaching within a KS1 setting in the UK, ideally with experience in Year 2.
 17. Training: Recent safeguarding training preferred; training will be provided.
Eligibility Requirements:
 18. Right to Work in the UK.
 19. Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to apply for one.
 20. Two professional references related to teaching experience.
