An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Practice Educator, to work in the learning and development department at RCHT.
Main duties of the job
* Co-ordination and support of all non medical undergraduate learners on placement within the Trust.
* Support and development of Supervisors, Assessors and Preceptors in practice.
* Provision of clinically based education within specific acute ward areas supporting both pre-registration students and preceptees.
Person Specification
* 2 years experience working in an acute clinical area.
* NMC/HCPC Pin Number.
* Teaching and/or mentoring/Assessor qualification.
* Evidence of teaching in a classroom and/or clinical area.
* Experience in an academic setting.
* Experience in a clinical teaching role.
Evidence
* Degree qualification.
* NMC/HCPC Pin Number.
* Teaching and/or mentoring/Assessor qualification.
* Experience as a preceptor.
* ILS and/or MH qualifications.
* Experience within a clinical teaching role.
