Responsibilities
* Accountable for consolidating the provisional drawing list with submission dates.
* Create and manage the global time schedule for all engineering activities.
* Ensure regular follow‑up of critical activities by discipline Project Engineering Managers (PEMs).
* Support work‑package PEMs to anticipate and mitigate delivery issues.
* Coordinate with discipline PEMs to ensure timely delivery of technical interfaces.
* Ensure information exchange interface sheets are in place and followed.
* Collaborate closely with PEMs and the planner to challenge and refine the global time schedule for engineering activities.
* Ensure coordination of technical disciplines in terms of interfaces and synchronization.
* Support package PEMs to secure required resources.
* Responsible for the project engineering budget, including monthly follow‑up, identification of potential savings and deviations, and ensuring proper allocation by WBS.
* Develop the engineering execution strategy with PEMs.
* Participate in project strategy development with the Project Director.
* Define and validate the design quality plan for the entire engineering scope.
* Consolidate and manage technical risks and opportunities for the project.
* Implement a design freeze process and validate the design freeze following relevant reviews and risk assessments.
* Serve as the primary contact for customer management on all engineering‑related topics.
* Organize clause‑by‑clause analysis and coordinate certification activities.
* Manage customer technical meetings and ensure consistent responses to customer queries.
* Oversee the management of technical documents, including tool set‑up, delivery process, master drawing list, and follow‑up on queries.
* Validate engineering documents before final release to the customer.
* Coordinate tracking of customer comments, document resubmission, and manage return status of project documentation.
* Ensure compliance with customer technical requirements and manage non‑conformance reports.
* Ensure the effectiveness of design against contract requirements within the project budget.
* Review main subcontracting files for design activities and optimize global costs during basic design.
* Organize design reviews with the customer and certifier, integrating EHS requirements based on project strategy.
* Set up and consolidate engineering KPIs and reporting for the entire project.
* Ensure non‑conformance reports involving engineering are managed effectively.
* Support PEMs in managing technical interfaces with main subcontractors, customers, and third parties.
* Develop O&MM structure and organize ROE with customers, main suppliers, and internally.
* Comply with quality procedures, work instructions, and processes.
* Demonstrate EHS leadership, implementing the Zero Deviation Plan within the team.
* Participate actively in defining corrective actions for unsafe work conditions or uncontrolled risks.
Technical Scope
* Technical complexity: FACTS / SPS content or offshore platform.
* Coordination complexity: cross‑regions, multi‑sites, or complex logistics.
* Other complexity: First of a Kind or Civil Works content.
