Rates of pay:
* NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care: £13.80 per hour
Nights - Part time and Full Time Shifts available. 22hrs – 44hrs per week

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will assess individual needs and develop person-centred care plans, ensuring medical, physical, and emotional needs are met. Safe medication administration is essential; all senior care assistants receive additional training to ensure competency and knowledge of the medications used in our homes.
Applicants should have previous care experience, preferably within Older People’s care or a dementia setting, and hold a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care.
Main Duties
* Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate high-standard nursing care tailored to individual needs, maintaining Orchard Care Homes’ standards.
* Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity, honoring their rights to privacy, independence, and choice.
* Lead, supervise, support, and develop the care team as a team leader.
* Maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills when liaising with external professionals, residents, and relatives.
