About the Role
We are seeking a Full Stack Developer – Booking App with technical excellence, creativity, and commercial acumen to help shape the digital backbone of our fast‑growing beauty e‑commerce business. We’re building a next-generation booking system app and need a skilled Full-Stack Developer to own both the frontend and backend.
This role builds, optimises, and maintains the digital platforms that power the brand’s online customer experience. It blends technical engineering with commercial awareness, ensuring the e‑commerce ecosystem is fast, reliable, personalised, and conversion‑driven.
You’ll need to maintain a seamless, secure, and scalable platform that users will love and that defines our customer journey—from product discovery and browsing to checkout and post‑purchase engagement.

Key Accountabilities
1. Application Development & Enhancement
• Develop backend services and APIs for bookings, payments, and notifications.
• Integrate payment gateways and ensure app security.
• Collaborate with designers for a smooth user experience.
• Write clean, efficient code and handle debugging/testing.
2. Front-End Development
• Build and maintain mobile app (iOS, Android, or cross-platform).
• Create responsive, accessible, and visually engaging user interfaces that reflect the brand’s beauty aesthetic.
• Implement product pages, shade selectors, quizzes, and interactive components that enhance discovery and conversion.
• Optimise site performance for speed, SEO, and mobile-first browsing.
3. Back-End Development
• Build and maintain APIs, databases, and integrations that support product catalogues, checkout flows, subscriptions, and loyalty programmes
• Ensure secure handling of customer data, payments, and authentication.
• Develop scalable architecture to support high-traffic campaigns (e.g., product drops, influencer collaborations).
4. E‑Commerce Platform & Integrations
• Work with platforms such as Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, or custom stacks.
• Integrate third‑party tools: CRM, ERP, fulfilment, reviews, analytics, and marketing automation.
• Support A/B testing, personalisation engines, and recommendation algorithms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues to ensure minimal downtime and smooth customer journeys
5. Cross‑Functional Collaboration
• Partner with design, marketing, product, and supply chain teams to translate commercial goals into technical solutions.Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative releases.
• Provide technical insight for new product launches, promotional campaigns, and UX enhancements.
6. Quality, Security & Reliability
• Write clean, maintainable code with strong documentation.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging.
• Ensure compliance with data protection, accessibility, and security standards.
• Apply secure coding practices and ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant regulations.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and quality assurance to uphold high standards.
• Support incident response and root‑cause analysis when issues arise.
7. Data, Analytics & Performance
• Optimise site speed, performance, and stability across devices and regions.
• Collaborate with data and marketing teams to implement tracking, A/B testing, and performance dashboards.
• Safeguard data integrity across customer, product, and transactional systems.
Essential Skills, Qualifications & Experience
• Strong full-stack development experience (React Native/Flutter + Node.js/Django/etc.)
• Experience with databases and REST/GraphQL APIs
• Knowledge of payment integrations (Stripe, PayPal)
• Natural problem‑solver with a customer‑mindset and commercial awareness.
• Experience with booking/reservation systems
• Desirable to have familiarity with real-time updates, geolocation and notifications.
• Familiarity with e‑commerce platforms and their ecosystems.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles and experience collaborating with creative teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels, including board level.
• Strong relationship builder, able to negotiate and influence global suppliers and partners.
Desirable Experience
• Background in beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or other design‑led consumer brands.
• Exposure to personalisation engines, recommendation systems, or loyalty platforms.
