We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school community in St Austell, Cornwall.
About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified teachers to embark on a full-time teaching role within a supportive and collaborative school environment. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to a Key Stage 1 class, fostering academic, social, and emotional growth among your pupils.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
2. Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages learning and development.
3. Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
4. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support students' well-being and growth.
5. Stay informed about safeguarding policies and best practices.
What You’ll Need:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Experience teaching Key Stage 1 or a strong desire to develop expertise in this area.
3. Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to inspire and engage pupils.
4. A commitment to nurturing a love for learning and ensuring all students thrive.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
