Driver Hire Basingstoke & Newbury is seeking dedicated Van (Cat B) & HGV (7.5t) drivers to join our team and work with a highly reputable client based in Amesbury, Wiltshire. If you’re passionate about driving and delivering top-quality service, this could be the perfect role for you.
The role is commutable from Salisbury, Andover and surrounding areas.
The Role:
1. Position: Driver
2. Contract: Temporary
3. Start Time: 07:30
4. Working Days: Mondays to Fridays.
5. Shift Length: Minimum 8 hours per day
6. Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the safe delivery of orders (approx. 10-15 per day) from the depot to farms and commercial businesses with the South / South-West of England, always ensuring a high level of customer service. You may also be involved in loading / unloading the van at the end of the day.
What You Need:
7. Licence: You must have a valid licence applicable to the class of vehicle to be driven, be over the age of 25, and have at least 1 years driving experience.
8. Certifications: If you are applying for the HGV role, and have additional ADR certification, please indicate this on your application.
9. Experience: Previous experience in multi-drop delivery work would be an advantage.
10. Skills: Excellent timekeeping and strong customer service abilities
11. Transport: Must have your own transport for commuting to work (Amesbury)
