The role
As an Engineering Lead – RF Communications, you’ll work within a multi-discipline design team on international projects. You’ll see the tangible output of your work, providing technical expertise and system design ownership, collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and overseeing a small team of engineers producing specifications and designs.
* Manage engineering changes to systems, prioritizing tasks as needed
* Lead engineering and system design delivery, participate in requirements management, and decompose system interfaces
* Generate detailed technical specifications and designs, ensuring adherence to processes and managing interface studies
* Lead operational engineering teams with in-service systems, troubleshooting faults and managing problems
* Participate in validation, verification, testing, and acceptance activities
This role is full-time (37 hours/week) with hybrid working: four days in the office and one day remote.
Essential experience for the Engineering Lead – RF Communications
* Knowledge of voice/data traffic handling, switching systems, VCCS, and ICCS
* Experience with voice/data communication technologies and protocols such as SIP/RTP, ED-, serial, IP, and TDM
* System and solution architecture design and delivery experience
