Complex Care Assistant Job Overview
Location: Herne Bay, Kent
Hourly Rate: £15.00 to £16.83 per hour
Shifts available: 12-hour shifts from 8 am to 8 pm, 2-3 days per week (varied days of the week)
We ask that there is some flexibility to cover sickness and annual leave within the Complex Care Assistant team.
Eligibility Criteria for a Complex Care Assistant
* Previous care experience is essential
* Please note you must be eligible to work in the UK. We do not offer sponsorship
* Full UK driving licence
About the Complex Care Assistant Role:
Continuity of Care Services is looking for compassionate and dedicated Complex Care Assistant to support our lively and sociable 20s female client living with complex health needs. She requires patient and reassuring carers who can anticipate her needs and spend time getting to know her. She has an active social life regularly enjoying swimming, bowling, walks in the park and shopping trips and lunch in town. She also attends a community club currently twice a week where she socialises with her peers.
Our clients requirements:
* Medication administration
* Assisted communication needs- Makaton (training will be given)
* Catheter and Stoma care (training will be given)
* TPN feeding awareness
* Positive Behaviour Support (preferred but training will be given)
* Basic household chores
* Personal care
* Moving and handling
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
