HGV Class 1 HIAB Driver - Bedford Salary: £41,254.20 Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 3:00pm OR 8:00am - 5:00pm/5:30pm Are you a reliable HGV Class 1 HIAB Driver looking for your next opportunity? We are working with a leading national hire company to recruit a HGV Class 1 HIAB Driver to join their dedicated team. Day-to-Day Duties: Deliver and collect company equipment on time and at the correct location, planning routes efficiently. Inspect equipment on collection and record any damage or missing items. Complete all paperwork accurately and obtain required signatures. Drive company vehicles safely and in line with transport regulations. Load, unload, and operate lifting equipment safely, following company procedures. Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks and report any defects. Requirements: CE Driving Licence is essential. At least 2 years commercial driving experience. A good geographical knowledge of the local and surrounding areas. Good physical health is required as this can be a physically demanding role at times. Flexible in your approach to work, able to work reasonable overtime if required, and adhere to all health & safety practice.
