An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 female Personal Assistants to provide support to a lady who is a wheelchair user with daily living and to access the local community. No lifting will be required for this person.
Responsibilities
* Morning support (8:30 to 10:00 AM, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday): assistance with getting up, dressing, shower; possible meal preparation; light cleaning; paperwork and online ordering. No toileting required.
* Evening support (8:30 to 9:00/9:30 PM, same days) includes getting ready for bed and light cleaning tasks.
* Possible additional hours for outings: support getting in and out of a specialised wheelchair‑accessible hatchback car, shopping, and local outings.
Requirements
* Cheerful with a sense of humour, common sense, problem‑solving ability and initiative.
* Basic computer and internet skills helpful for morning position.
* Preferred: car driver with a full clean licence.
Training and Experience
Previous experience is not required; training will be provided. A positive attitude and good work ethic are essential.
Compensation
Hourly rate of £15, plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and a workplace pension scheme available.
