Within our 40 bed Complex Dementia Unit, we provide specialist dementia care in a structured and supportive environment for residents living with advanced cognitive needs. Care Assistant - Complex Dementia Unit 12.21 per hour Full time and part time contracts available Day shift and night shift available 12 hour shifts 8am to 8pm or 8pm to 8am 1 hour break, 30 minutes paid Pension scheme, Paid DBS, Uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract The Role As a Care Assistant within our Complex Dementia Unit, you will provide high quality, person centred dementia care to residents with complex cognitive needs. You will support with personal care, mobility, daily routines and meaningful engagement, ensuring dignity and emotional wellbeing are always prioritised. Working closely with Nurses and senior staff, you will follow care plans accurately, maintain infection control standards and report any changes in behaviour or wellbeing promptly. Your role will help create a calm, reassuring environment where residents feel secure, valued and supported to live fulfilling lives. We welcome both experienced Care Assistants and those new to care. NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is preferred but not essential. If you are reliable, patient and willing to learn, full training and ongoing support will be provided.
