About the role: The Seventh-day Adventist Church (SPD) Limited is seeking reliable and service-oriented Hospitality Services Cleaners to join our team. In these hands-on and rewarding roles, you will be instrumental in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, guests, and residents. From preparing short-stay accommodation and managing linen services to maintaining offices and shared spaces to a consistently high standard, your work will directly contribute to a positive and professional hospitality experience. Working across The Quarters, the South Pacific Division offices, and other areas within the Wahroonga Estate, you will help ensure that all facilities reflect excellence in presentation, hygiene, and care. You may also assist with end-of-lease cleans and occasional special projects, while adhering to workplace health and safety standards and organisational procedures. We are offering permanent part-time and/or casual opportunities of up to 36.25 hours per week. Through this work, you will contribute to an organisation committed to service, excellence, and supporting the mission of the Church across the South Pacific. What we’re looking for; The successful applicants will demonstrate: Experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality services (short-stay or serviced accommodation experience highly regarded). Sound knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safe chemical handling, with a strong commitment to hygiene and WHS standards. The physical capability to undertake manual cleaning tasks, including lifting, operating equipment, and using ladders. Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and maintain high standards. The ability to work independently while contributing positively within a small team. Professional communication skills and the ability to interact respectfully with residents, guests, and staff. Reliability, punctuality, and a consistent commitment to meeting rostered work schedules.
