Responsibilities An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Senior Nurse to work within the Community Nursing Night service in Locala, covering areas across North Kirklees and Greater Huddersfield. This role offers the chance to lead and develop the Night service and team alongside Band 6 colleagues and the Band 7 team manager, ensuring the organisation's values are upheld. The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm to support high-quality service delivery, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be adaptable, reliable, and approachable. The Senior Nurse will need a positive attitude, the ability to collaborate with multi-professionals and daytime colleagues, and adapt to the service's needs. Responsibilities include providing clinical advice at the single point of Contact call Centre and liaising with the on-call manager for Locala out of hours. Within the Community Nursing Night team, duties involve delivering nursing services and holistic assessments of patients' health needs using a person-centred approach. This includes providing seamless nursing care to housebound and sometimes non-housebound patients and coordinating their care to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions.
