Job Description
1. Responsible for daily administration, greeting guests, handling queries and complaints, and booking rooms and visitors.
2. Maintain high standards of customer service at the reception desk to exceed customer expectations.
3. Motivate and develop the Reception team to ensure smooth department functioning and promote teamwork.
4. Communicate with the Duty Manager regarding guest services and hotel operations.
5. Document all guest-related issues using the logbook.
6. Sign media and supervise shift handover procedures.
7. Coordinate with other hotel departments on administrative and operational matters.
8. Provide management presence by assisting with guest needs and complaints tactfully and efficiently.
9. Assist Guest Relations with greeting, rooming, and farewelling guests.
10. Inspect front and back of house for cleanliness and orderliness regularly.
11. Ensure front line staff comply with marketing techniques and maximize sales.
12. Check billing instructions, monitor guest credit, and address discrepancies.
13. Maintain Front Office log book and shift reports.
14. Coordinate full house situations, including handling overbooking and pledge relocations.
