HLTA wanted at a Mainstream Primary School in Hornchurch, Havering! Classroom Support is in search for a committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) who is eager and passionate about assisting children with special educational needs (SEN). We are seeking an energetic and proactive individual with prior classroom experience or experience supporting students with various forms of SEN, including Autism or ADHD. A Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) plays a crucial role in supporting the work of teachers and helping to ensure the smooth running of a school. Some of your key responsibilities will include delivering cover lessons to whole classes or small groups, assisting with planning and assessing students' work, and providing additional support to students with special educational needs. As a HLTA, you will be expected to have a Level 4 qualification in a relevant subject, as well as a recognised teaching assistant qualification. Previous experience working in a school setting is necessary, along with strong communication and organisational skills. You must be able to work effectively as part of a team, follow school policies and procedures, and have a genuine desire to support the learning and development of students.
