Day-to-day of the role:
* Manage customer bookings using internal systems and online portals.
* Handle both inbound and outbound communications with UK and European clients.
* Resolve customer queries promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
* Collaborate effectively with import/export, domestic, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Support sales efforts through effective prospecting and customer onboarding.
* Participate in ongoing training to stay current with compliance and operational procedures.
* Contribute to process improvements and the overall success of the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent time management and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other IT systems.
* Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Previous experience in road freight or logistics is highly desirable.
* Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
