A growing, multi-disciplinary consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Principal Flood Risk & Drainage Engineer to support an increasing pipeline of development projects across the South West and beyond. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys technical leadership, varied projects and the chance to grow into wider management and leadership responsibilities over time.
The Role
* Lead flood risk and drainage inputs on a wide range of development schemes
* Prepare and oversee Flood Risk Assessments and drainage strategies
* Work closely with civil engineers, planners and technicians as part of an integrated team
* Support projects through the planning process, managing programmes and budgets
* Mentor and support junior team members
* Contribute to the future growth of the flood risk and drainage capability
About You
* Degree-qualified in a relevant discipline
* Several years' experience in flood risk and drainage within a consultancy environment
* Strong understanding of the Flood Risk Assessment process
* Confident leading technical workstreams and liaising with stakeholders
* Collaborative, proactive and passionate about delivering quality outcomes
* Ambitious and keen to progress into greater leadership responsibility
