Job Description

Royal Voluntary Service has an opportunity for a Digital Content Producer to join our Marketing Team. You will plan, source and create digital content (copy, video, photography, infographics, blogs, etc.) and manage, optimise and report on digital content across online platforms to engage and inform key audiences for Royal Voluntary Service and its associated platform and marketplace. The role aims to enhance the organisation’s online presence, improve user experience, and support digital marketing campaigns aligned with the marketing strategy.


Responsibilities

* Develop and implement a digital content plan that aligns with the organisation’s marketing and communications goals.
* Devise creative campaigns to propel channels forward and deliver ambitions.
* Create and manage digital content across platforms, primarily web and social.
* Be the primary author of copy on the organisation’s website; support blogs, newsletters, social posts and other channels as required.
* Produce multi-media content (videos, infographics and other interactive elements) to enhance engagement.
* Optimise content for SEO and user experience, ensuring it is easily discoverable, engaging and informative.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content is on-brand and impactful.
* Analyse digital content performance using analytics tools and provide recommendations for improvement.
* Monitor digital trends and best practices to inform content strategies.
* Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery across channels.
* Support broader digital marketing campaigns and align content accordingly.
* Assist with social media accounts, maintaining consistent messaging and follower engagement.
* Keep up-to-date with content trends, tools and best practices to continually improve quality.


Qualifications

* Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant field or significant experience in a similar digital content role.
* Strong understanding of SEO, CMS and digital marketing tools.
* Knowledge of content marketing best practices and online audience engagement strategies.
* Experience with web analytics and content performance measurement (e.g., Google Analytics).
* Awareness of trends in social media platforms and digital content formats.
* Understanding of brand voice, tone, and messaging across digital channels.
* Strong writing and editing skills with ability to adapt style for different audiences.
* Proficiency in digital tools including CMS, social media management platforms, and Google Analytics.
* Filming, photography and production experience; basic graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite or Canva).
* Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
* Strong communication skills and ability to analyse content performance to drive improvements.


Experience

* Proven experience creating and managing digital content across multiple channels.
* Experience with SEO techniques and content optimization for search engines.
* Experience using CMS (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
* Experience managing social media platforms, content calendars and community engagement.
* Experience analyzing digital content performance and providing actionable insights.
* Experience working in a team and with cross-functional departments.
* Experience with email marketing tools and content distribution.

* Salary with range £26,173 to £29,912 per annum.
