Job Description
Position: Science Department Resource Coordinator
Hours of work: 37 Hours. Full‑time, Term‑time only (pro‑rated salary).
Closing date: Friday 29 May 2026.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate the use of practical resources and facilities for the science curriculum.
* Provide assistance and advice on the practical needs of the science curriculum.
* Liaise with teaching staff and support staff outside the department.
* Attend and represent the Science department at the governors Health and Safety committee.
Requirements and Legal
The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
Successful candidates must have an enhanced DBS check. If they have lived or worked outside the UK within the last 10 years, an overseas criminal records check is also required.
