Clinical Audit & Effectiveness Facilitator
Clinical Audit is central to our commitment to improving services and enhancing organisational effectiveness. The Clinical Audit & Effectiveness Team plays a vital role in ensuring that we deliver the highest standards of care by supporting clinical teams to measure practice against national and local standards, as outlined in the Trust's Forward Measurement Programme. The team oversees the Trust's NICE Guidance and Quality Standards distribution and reporting processes and manages participation in NCEPOD studies, providing essential assurance functions within the wider Quality and Safety framework.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our busy Clinical Audit & Effectiveness Team and support the delivery of the Trust's Clinical Effectiveness Strategy. You will be responsible for your own directorates and workstreams, working within an established structure to develop and deliver clinical effectiveness processes. This will involve close collaboration with clinicians and managers at all levels. The role includes developing and using measurement tools and systems to provide assurance that local and national standards are being met, ensuring lessons learned are captured and shared, and identifying areas for improvement to support high-quality service delivery.
Person Specification
Experience
* Educated to 'A' level in relevant subject (i.e. maths, IT, English) or relevant NHS experience
* Computer literate with an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
* Using simple statistics, data analysis and interpretation and manipulation of data
* Data entry, text processing, storage of data, and updating databases
* Creating statistical reports, documents, charts and presentations
* Arranging facilitating and participate in multi-disciplinary meetings
* Experience of NHS and clinical terminology / navigation of Clinical Documentation
* Previous Clinical Audit / Measurement Experience
* Actively seeks to develop own knowledge, skills and ability.
* Ability to multitask; to plan, organise and prioritise own workload, adhering to tight deadlines
* European Computer Driving Licence ECDL
* Current driving licence and access to vehicle to work Cross site or throughout the health economy
