What will this role of Infrastructure, Facilities Manager entail? Reporting directly to our Head of Depots, it is a varied leadership role managing assets, budget, people and property with compliance, safety, quality and strong financial control at the core. Key areas of responsibility: Asset Management Strategy You will be responsible for ensuring we have a robust asset management strategy ensuring all applicable legal and policy compliance and with a focus on reducing reactive costs over time through preventative interventions. Cost control and budgeting Working with your team, you will be responsible for the creation of the annual budget and overseeing its delivery, reporting any deviations and developing actions to recover where required. Managing the team Management of your team to ensure all aspects of the asset management strategy and budget are being delivered across all our sites. Ensuring performance reviews are undertaken and development requirements are understood and planned for. Capex Responsible for technical specifications for capital investment projects provision to the Procurement Team for tender, playing a key part in the tender review panel and providing project management either directly or through your team for the delivery phase. This will include undertaking CDM Client Duties on behalf of ATC. What will I need to be considered for this Infrastructure, Facilities Manager role?
1. Recognised CDM qualification is essential
2. University degree in Civil Engineering is desirable
3. Professional membership of ICE (or equivalent) is desirable
4. People Management training to a minimum ILM Level 5
5. Relevant experience in building construction and maintenance work at managerial level
6. A good understanding of the mechanical equipment, air conditioning, refrigeration, fire systems, stand-by emergency power, water treatment and preventative maintenance systems
7. Full and valid driving licence is essential – as you will be required to travel
