The Role: New Partnerships Manager
This is not an entry-level sales role — it is a high-impact business development position for someone with the commercial acumen and industry credibility to open doors and close complex, high-value deals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing new key accounts aligned with our goals to expand market share, diversify revenue, and strengthen our competitive position. This role requires frequent international travel and the ability to work autonomously, with weekly in-person collaboration at our South Yorkshire facility.
Proactively source and convert high-potential leads into long-term clients
Contract negotiation: Manage end-to-end sales cycles, leading commercial negotiations to secure profitable agreements
Account management: Build and grow strategic partnerships that support long-term business goals
Experience selling into sectors such as nuclear, hydro, or energy infrastructure
Strong commercial negotiation and strategic relationship-building skills
Experience managing international accounts and market expansion
Background in high-voltage rotating electrical equipment or coil/bar sales
Network of contacts in hydro and/or nuclear industries
Hybrid working (home-based with 1 day/week at HQ)
